Dog Foot Training
An interesting and useful command to teach your dog is the Dog Foot Command. The point of this exercise is to get your dog to point at an object with his paw, on your command. If you think about trying to teach your pet that it might sound almost impossible but with the use of the behaviour shaping training method it becomes quite easy, believe it or not. First step: Reward your dog for looking at the target. Second step: Reward the dog for touching the target with his nose. Third step: Reward him for moving his paw towards the target. Fourth step: Only reward him now for touching the target with his paw.
